2 Ingredient Onion Rings

Ingredients:

Chips:

  • 1 medium onion, sliced thinly 

  • ½ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese 

  • Salt and pepper to taste 

  • Chosen Foods 100% avocado oil spray 

  • Seasonings of choice – ½ tsp garlic powder, ½ tsp onion powder, pinch of cayenne pepper

Sriracha mayo:

  • 1/3 cup Chosen Foods 100% avocado mayo

  • 2 tbsp sriracha

  • 1 tsp lemon juice 

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400F

  2. Slice your onion with a mandoline. You want this crispy, so about ¼ inch thick is what you’re aiming for. 

  3. Line your baking tray with parchment paper and lay down a layer of parmesan cheese. 

  4. Next, lay your onions onto the baking sheet to make sure they are not overlapping. 

  5. Liberally grate more parmesan cheese all over the turnips. The cheese is what is going to add the extra crisp. 

  6. Season with salt and pepper and spray with avocado spray, making sure you coat everything evenly. 

  7. Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown and allow to cool for an additional 10 mins. 

  8. As it’s cooling, make your sriracha mayo and serve with chips.
