50 Cent Saves Shaquille O’Neal From Humiliation and Potential $500 Loss in Hilarious Face-Off

It’s not often Funny Marco gets to be interviewed. So when the tables turned on his appearance on The Big Podcast, he tried to put Shaq on the spot and take his $500 while he was at it. Too bad he forgot that if there’s someone who has almost the entire entertainment industry on speed dial, it’s Shaquille O’Neal. He had the audacity to question if there was anyone who wouldn’t answer Shaq on the first ring. As if Shaq wasn’t calling himself the “50 cent of the NBA” last week, Marco threw an improvised Facetime battle by betting Shaq to get 50 Cent to answer his call.

Side note: Funny Marco is not making light of Shaq’s reach. He’d even answer Shaq’s call in a blink. With $500 on the line, Shaq summoned his phone because he could get in touch with Curtis Jackson whenever he wanted. Funny Marco set some rules. Shaq had to prove he’s actually calling 50 Cent and not a fake. It had to be Facetime for evidence. Shaq couldn’t text him beforehand. And the rapper had to answer on the first attempt.

O’Neal was very confident. He let Adam Lefkoe confirm he was calling 50 Cent. Hilariously, Shaq has his old friend saved as First Name: 50 and Last name: Cents. There was a minor hiccup at the first attempt that went unanswered. Through Marco’s protests, Shaq pretended that didn’t happen.

Curtis was quicker this time. All he said wasYou,” and Shaq went, “50 Cent, what’s up, boy? You good?” Jackson said, “Yip,” which made Marco suspicious if it was the real deal. But Shaq told him that he was live and ended the call without giving any context for the abrupt phone call. Did that convince Funny Marco? Not even in the slightest.

Shaquille O’Neal and 50 Cent are more suspicious than it seems

Shaq and 50 Cent go way back. He can call himself the 50 Cent of the NBA to diss Shannon Sharpe and not only get away with it but get the hip-hop mogul’s approval for it. But Marco was rather sus of that phone call.

He didn’t make an actual Facetime to show Jackson’s face because Shaq wouldn’t put “Ma boy” online without permission. Yet he got away with not having to fork out $500. To prove he does have that pull, Shaq easily called Kendrick Lamar (and hyped that diss on Drake), and Facetimed Mr Beast and Charles Barkley. Chuck was excited to talk to Funny Marco but the YouTuber made Shaq hang up out of nervousness.

The key takeaway is, everyone answered on the first call. No doubt all his friends are a phone call away. Even if it’s to save him $500 without context.
