Protein ice cream made in a Ninja Creami machine is a delicious, healthy treat that is perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth while also fueling your body. With the addition of protein powder, you can boost the nutritional value of your ice cream while still enjoying the creamy, smooth texture that the Ninja Creami machine creates.
The first thing I tried was taking one of my Chocolate Fair Life protein shakes which is 30 grams of protein and freezing the contents of it in the pint container that comes with the appliance. It came out so nice and thick it was an amazing nice little treat to have in the afternoon with lots of protein. You can even make strawberry and vanilla protein ice cream with the flavors they have from Fair LIfe.
This is the next best thing to an air fryer!

Tips for Ninja Creami’s
- Ninja Creami’s can make smoothie bowls, ice cream, gelato, sorbet, and even milkshakes!
- Respin! If the blending didn’t work the first time try adding some more juice or milk to it and do a second respin.
- For sorbets use canned fruit or fresh fruit. It just doesn’t make any sense to defrost frozen fruit and then refreeze it in the Ninja Creami machine.
- Find a good base ice cream for vanilla and you can add whatever toppings you like to the ice cream for mix ins.
- The Ninja Creami is kind of loud when it is spinning in the machine. Just warning you before you attempt to make ice cream. 🙂
- Protein drinks like Fairlife and Premiere work great in a Ninja Creami.
