Richard Childress Racing star, Kyle Busch’s race at Gateway Motorsports Park has resulted in his first DNF finish of the season. Busch’s No. 8 car was involved in a heated battle against the No. 5 of Kyle Larson in the final lap of the Stage 2 run. Larson tried to make a pass but was repeatedly blocked by Busch.
After making multiple contacts, Larson’s car got loose on the turn and rammed into Busch, making hard contact with the wall. The damage to Kyle Busch’s car was beyond repairs, and he had to take an exit from the race. Frustrated with the ordeal, Busch, after the incident, said in an interview, “I’m sure it’s my fault.” Whereas Larson, making his arguments on the radio, said, “I mean he turned into me.”
However, fans didn’t seem to agree with Larson’s defense and questioned his intentions in trying to wreck, Busch. Questioning his tag of NASCAR’s most talented driver, a fan wrote, “MoSt TaLeNtEd DrIvEr. F**k Kyle Larson”.
