Nutritious recipe for sprouted almond milk that is a healthy alternative to dairy milk to avoid the toxic commercial versions from the store.
While almond milk from the store is not a good choice, a simple homemade version is both delicious and nutritious.
If you wish to dial up the nourishment and digestibility of this recipe, try this fermented almond milk. It adds additional enzymes and probiotics.
I strongly recommend using sprouted (“germinated”) almonds in the recipe below.
I suggest this brand or this brand.
In a pinch, you may substitute plain raw (not roasted) almonds as needed.
The alternative works without any loss of digestibility. The reason is because the almonds must be soaked overnight even if sprouted to soften them up before blending.
