I had my hair done… Having a trip planned is the motivation I need to schedule a hair appointment. It was time for color because my grays had taken over (I use this spray in between appointments).
I have to share this amazingly inspirational videos of Meghan Hunt. One time Skye and I were running at BYU and she stopped her run to talk to Skye about how great of a job she was doing. I have loved watching her journey and what she has overcome to get to where she is today.
My day was spent mostly in front of the computer while Andrew took the kids to do fun things, but I do have a few other pictures to share…

I have some ‘have you ever’ questions to discuss and would love for you to weigh in on whether you have or not… Really this is my way to get out a bunch of random thoughts I’ve had lately.
*Have you ever looked at your splits after a run and been able to pinpoint when you were thinking about something that fired you up that made you speed up? Or have you been able to tell exactly when you and your running friends were talking about something intense based on your paces?
-My pace increases drastically when thinking about something that makes me heated. My running friends and I will have to remind each other to slow down when talking about something that gets us GOING when we are supposed to be running easy.
*Have you ever thought you needed to quit during a race or run but then you didn’t and it helped you realize how dang capable you are?
-If this hasn’t happened to you in a bit, go out and try it today. Get yourself to a place where you want to quit and then don’t. It’s basically a drug to me.
*Have you ever told yourself you are never running a race again only to find yourself searching for another race to do asap?
-Reminded of this one because this is my nephew currently.
*Have you ever had someone close to you say they are going to write a book about how to fight during the late luteal phase?
-Yes, Andrew. Weird, how 99% of our fights are during this time of the month for me (it’s me, Hi, I’m the problem, it’s me;).
*Have you ever gotten to a place in a workout or race where you are actually TOO tired to look at your watch? Is the thought of looking down and your arm rotating towards you too much to do?
-This is me during 400s and 200s at the track lately. I’m just too anaerobic to even think of adding an extra movement to the mix.
Have you ever noticed how nice it is in the summer to open gels vs the winter when our fingers are froze ?
Have you ever thought to yourself, “wow, I must be running an xxx pace,” but then looked at your watch and realized you were running much slower?
