JetBlue is celebrating travelers who plan ahead with a major two-day fall sale that has 25 percent off flights.
The sale, which must be booked by 11:59 p.m. ET on July 10, is valid on travel from Sept. 7 to Nov. 20, the airline shared with Travel + Leisure. The promotion doesn’t include travel on Fridays or Sundays, but other than that there are no blackout dates.
The sale is only valid off the base fare of nonstop flights with the airline. To book, travelers must use the promo code “FALL2024” on JetBlue’s website.
“To give our customers a soaring start on fall travel planning, we’re offering even greater savings this year as part of our fall sale,” Jayne O’Brien, the head of marketing and customer support at JetBlue, told T+L. “Those traveling on JetBlue this fall will delight in free carry-on bags for all fares starting September 6, new routes to beloved destinations across the Caribbean and Latin America and, as always, award-winning service delivered by the best crewmembers.”
In addition to savings on flights, the airline is putting its vacation packages on sale for up to $500 off. Travelers who book a flight and hotel or flight and cruise package for travel between July 16 and June 5, 2025, can save $50 off $1,000 or more with the promo code ”SAND50,” can save $100 off $2,000 or more with the promo code ”SAND100,” can save $250 off $4,000 or more with the promo code ”SAND250,” and can save $500 off $6,500 or more with the promo code ”SAND500.”
To take advantage, travelers must also book by 11:59 p.m. ET on July 10.
The sale comes on the heels of JetBlue’s decision to include a carry-on bag with its basic economy tickets starting Sept. 6. Currently, most Blue Basic tickets don’t include a carry-on bag and travelers who bring a bag must pay extra and check it, which costs $65 for a first or second checked bag. The exception is transatlantic flights when Blue Basic tickets include a carry-on bag.
Earlier this year, JetBlue also changed how it charges for bags when it introduced a peak and off-peak pricing structure in addition to quietly raising baggage prices in February.
