Good morning! I can’t thank you enough for all of your comments yesterday, they mean the world to me. The hamstring is already improving, but I’m going to take a good chunk of time off of running! So, let’s go right into today’s tangents:
*All gear bags need to come with your bib number in sticker form to put on your bag to avoid the stress that accompanies using a pen that then smears as you try to write your number on your bag. I always wonder if I will ever see the bag again when I throw it into the truck until this one:
*My kids prefer expos to trick-or-treating and they usually end up with more SWAG than they can carry.
*She found my name!
*I love the sign area that the StG Marathon expo has for the kids… they could stay here all day.
*Brooke and I really enjoyed this sign.
*I’m excited to not be eating bread in bed at 3:35 am for a while.
*My Runner’s Corner tattoo did not survive the day either.
*Nobody in my life ended up loving me less because I didn’t hit my goals and they won’t in your life either! Don’t forget that!
*And I’m going to keep it this way for as long as my body needs (the race part, not the nap part):
*Skye has way better push-up form than I’ve ever had.
*Jealous of my niece’s shirt she wore for her shake-out run.
*My brother was not happy that I was bringing my niece back with us up north to go back to BYU…
*Curly does her own nails. CAN YOU BELIEVE THESE?? Goals.
*That feeling when I heard my kids cheering for me. That alone made all of the early mornings worth it the last few months.
