I got a bike & Skin Talk (do I try this again??)

A few weeks ago, I told Andrew I wanted to get a bike to start biking with him. I gave up mountain biking when I went over my handlebars a few years ago, so I’m going with road biking again. Less than 2 seconds after I told him this, he was on his laptop researching to find the perfect one for me. My only requirements were that it needed to be used (so it was cheaper) and that he couldn’t tell me its price (so I wouldn’t feel guilty… ignorance is bliss). He got me a used Specialized Roubaix and I have a feeling it will be a bit better than the bike I had in college;)

Beck told me yesterday, “I’m happy but my ears hurt.” Double ear infection with a smile on his face?!? I miss his ear tubes!

Brooke and her team finished up the season undefeated!

And the weather was absolutely perfect.

I still have more tangents today…

*My brother’s view from the cockpit of his flight!

*I WILL GET TO SKI WITHOUT MARATHON TRAINING AT THE SAME TIME THIS YEAR!

*We went to the most unique gender reveal party the other night. They hired professional wrestlers and the winner of the match provided the answer to what they are having… A GIRL!

*After what the temps were on Saturday for the marathon (and I even missed the really really hot part… the last 8 miles), I’m thinking when I do go back to marathoning, I will do this one:

*It’s really nice to have energy to make dinner again. I love these enchiladas very much.

*The absolute cutest sample spoons at an ice cream shop.

*Lauren asked ChatGPT for some marathon mantras… not bad, not bad.

*Last year at this time, Andrew and I were in Budapest gearing up for the marathon. TAKE US BACK!

*Okay, let’s talk about skin. I promise I’ve tried basically everything under the sun. I have zits upon zits at basically all times (maybe it’s from the makeup I use to cover it all up). I was talking with my dermatologist a few weeks ago, and really, the only thing that ever made a difference for me was Accutane in college… Do I try it again since we are pretty sure we are done having kids?? I’m inching towards 40 and have more zits than when I was a teenager?!?!

Accutane thoughts? Who has tried it?

Been to any original parties lately?

Ever use ChatGPT?

Who wants to come road biking with me?
