New Balance to host exclusive 1080v14 launch event in Toronto on Oct. 17

To celebrate the highly anticipated release of the New Balance Fresh Foam X 1080v14, the brand will host an exclusive launch party on Thursday, Oct. 17 at STACKT Market (28 Bathurst St.) in Toronto. This event promises to be a unique experience for sneaker enthusiasts, runners and fans of the brand, offering attendees the chance to try out the latest version of one of New Balance’s most successful running shoes.

Building on the massive success of the Fresh Foam X 1080v13, the new 1080v14 is poised to be the brand’s best iteration yet. Attendees will not only get to experience the shoe firsthand, but will also have the opportunity to participate in brand giveaways and capture memories at a special photo-op area. Guests can even get their photo on a customized cover of Canadian Running magazine.

The event kicks off at 3 p.m. ET with a lounge area where guests can try on the 1080v14. In addition, there will be a “sole-mate quiz” kiosk designed to pair runners with the best New Balance shoe and colourway to match their style and personality.

At 4:00 p.m. ET, Dave Korell from New Balance Canada will be interviewed about the Fresh Foam 1080v14, offering insights into the shoe’s design and features. The event will be moderated by Canadian Running writers Marley Dickinson and Cameron Ormond, a three-time Canadian U Sports champion, who will lead discussions with members of Toronto’s running community, New Balance product designers and Canadian Olympians on the theme “Run Your Way.”

For those wanting to test the new shoes, there will be a three- to five-kilometre shakeout run at 7:00 p.m., giving guests the chance to experience the performance of the Fresh Foam 1080v14 firsthand. Joining the run will be Canadian Olympians and New Balance athletes Lindsey Butterworth and Micha Powell, along with local running ambassadors and influencers. After the run, attendees can unwind with mocktails from the Fresh Foamery bar and grab a bite.
