As the cooler weather starts to make an experience, many travelers will be thinking about escaping for a winter break. Although visiting Europe won’t give you a sun injection, there are plenty of places that are stunning in the cold months.

Vienna, Austria: A wonderland of culture and festivity

Stockholm, Sweden: A Scandi gem

Winters in Sweden are long and dark with very few hours of daylight, so visitors should try to make the most of it. If the weather is clear, head to The Royal Palace and Parliament House. These beautiful buildings look especially interesting in the winter lighting.

Copenhagen, Denmark: Hygge and holiday cheer

For the ultimate Danish festive experience you must head to the world-famous Tivoli Gardens.
