Do you have a cabinet full of toys and games that were used — albeit hard and with enthusiasm — for a little while, but now sit mostly idle and unused?
I can so relate!
That said, my 2024 Kids Toys and Games Gift Guide contains items that have stood the test of time with my three kids (currently 11, 8, and 6) — plus a game we’re looking forward to diving into together this holiday season!

2024 Kids Toys and Games Gift Guide
01. Avocado Smash. This fun and easy card game only has a few rules that are easy to follow. Most of all, it is SO fun and engaging!
02. Knex aka old school Legos. 😉 If your kids are looking for something a bit different than Legos, Knex are super fun — the sky is the limit to what you can build.
03. Quick Push Game. These are fantastic for kids who want a “video game” experience, but caregivers prefer no screens. We took a couple of these with us on a cross country road trip last summer and they were (and continue to be) a smash it.
04. Spot It is another easy card game for even the littlest of players.
05. Mini Simon Says is a great game to take along on long car trips. It never gets old!
06. Air Hockey Table for a little competitive action. This is “miniature” in size and takes up a fraction of the space a typical air hockey table does.
07. Hex Bots Wallcrawler. My middle received this for a birthday gift recently and we are honestly ALL obsessed, ha! Not only does this lizard (they have other critters too) climb on the floor, but the walls too. Fun fun!
08. Card Game Starter Pack this is a great intro pack for (soon to be) card sharks. We have these wooden card holders which makes playing cards much easier for little hands.
09. Tap 2 Win. I am actually gifting my kids with this game for the holidays. I plan on bringing it to Christmas for some family fun!
10. Mr. Mouth. 1987 called and said “come get your favorite game!” Honestly, it’s just as much fun as you remember. My kids love it!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
