Amazon Listed a Tiny Home With 2 Huge Balconies

As of October 2024, the median sale price for a house was more than $430,000. Instead, however, you can buy this Amazon tiny house eight times for that amount — and it’s not even that tiny.

Unlikely as it seems, Amazon has a whole selection of tiny homes for sale, but this is by far one of the sleekest we’ve found. If you like tons of natural light and outdoor space (we’re talking two balconies, plus a patio), you will be right at home in this two-story dwelling just waiting on the factory floor for a flat piece of land to call its own. It’s so expansive that you’ll even be able to store everything from ski gear to holiday decorations — without taking up precious living space.

The tiny home comes ready (and “easy”) to assemble from Expo Groups, a seller of tiny home kits based out of Virginia. It is 40 feet long, 20 feet wide, and two stories high, with a balcony on the front and a covered deck on the back. It has a stylish boxy design with steel siding and a single-pitch shed roof. You can customize the floor plan based on your space needs, too. No matter what, you’ll get a full kitchen and bathroom, two spacious balconies, and room for a patio.

The images hint at the possibility of having tons of windows, a fireplace, and a spiral staircase. The seller says it comes pre-wired with “lighting, heating, air conditioning, a stove set up, and plumbing, compliant with U.S. standards.”

Whether you’re in the market for a second home to hole up in on the weekends or a permanent abode, this under-$50K tiny house could potentially meet your loftiest standards.

A little disclaimer: We at Travel + Leisure have not tested any tiny homes sold at Amazon, and, unfortunately, there are no shopper reviews. For more inspiration, find other prefab houses below.

S.E.Q Double-story House With Sunroom

For those who prioritize natural light above everything else, here’s a 28-by-9-foot, two-story option with a sunroom that illuminates the entire ground floor. You can customize the layout to include up to four bedrooms, depending on how tiny you want to go. And you wouldn’t even have to sacrifice a balcony — the rooftop terrace checks that box.

If space is a concern, a double-story 40-by-20-foot home is about as much room as you could hope for at a $37,000 price point. It comes with a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, according to the seller, and again, you can customize the number of rooms. The highlights, though, have to be the floor-to-ceiling windows and the option to turn part of your first-floor roof into a balcony.
