Air Canada Is Adding 3 New U.S. Flights Next Summer — Here’s Where They’ll Fly

Air Canada will add service to Vancouver from three new cities in the United States next year.

The Canadian airline will add new routes from Tampa, Raleigh, and Nashville starting in May 2025, flying between the cities and Vancouver International Airport (YVR) several times each week, according to Air Canada.

“Air Canada continues to reinforce its position as the leading carrier between Canada and the US with new flights to fast-growing metropolitan areas and sought out destinations,” Mark Galardo, the executive vice president, revenue and network planning, and the president of cargo at Air Canada, said in a statement. “Our robust network means customers in Western Canada have more options to explore all that the US has to offer, and for our American customers to explore beautiful British Columbia.”

To start, the airline will launch service between Vancouver and Nashville on May 1, operating the flights four times each week through October 2025.

Then on June 3, the carrier will launch flights twice each week between Vancouver and Tampa year-round. Finally, Air Canada will begin flying between Vancouver and Raleigh three times each week starting on June 4 and will plan to operate that route through September 2025.

In addition to the new flights, Air Canada said it would increase flight capacity between Vancouver and the U.S. cities of Austin, Denver, and Miami. The airline will fly five times each week to Austin, twice daily to Denver, and four times each week to Miami.

Air Canada is part of the Star Alliance along with United Airlines, and with its partner, said it would plan to operate a total of 58 daily nonstop flights to 21 different U.S. destinations next summer. That marks an 11 percent increase from last summer.

These new routes join other recently-announced flights Air Canada plans to fly, including between Jacksonville, FL, and Toronto, and between Montreal and Cincinnati.
