JetBlue is celebrating winter with a big flight sale that has tickets starting as low as $49.
The sale, which is available to book over eight days until 11:59 p.m. ET on Jan. 14, is valid on travel from Jan. 11 through April 9, the airline shared with Travel + Leisure. The sale is not available for travel on Fridays or Sundays or from Feb. 13 to Feb. 24.
Fly between New York City and the Fort Myers area in Florida or fly between Fort Lauderdale and Raleigh in North Carolina starting at just $49 each way. For just $10 more, travelers can score tickets between Boston and Charleston, between New York and Chicago, between Newark and Fort Lauderdale, and more.
The sale also includes major savings on international getaways, like $99 one-way flights from Fort Lauderdale to Cancun, $124 one-way flights from Boston to Providenciales in Turks and Caicos, and $149 one-way flights from Orlando to Montego Bay in Jamaica.
And travelers hoping to explore Puerto Rico can fly to San Juan starting at just $69 one-way from Orlando, starting at just $94 one-way from Tampa, starting at just $109 from Rhode Island, and starting at just $119 one-way from New York.
The sales include all government taxes and fees, but travelers must pay for a checked bag if they are flying on a Blue, Blue Basic, or Blue Extra fare on most flights. JetBlue charges for bags based on a peak and off-peak pricing structure.
The good news is JetBlue now allows travelers in basic economy to bring a carry-on bag with them for free.
The sale comes ahead of JetBlue’s plans to upgrade its domestic flights next year with a brand-new first class cabin. The airline is also expanding its international presence with plans to launch service to Spain next summer and offer even more flights to Scotland.
This month, the Department of Transportation (DOT) fined JetBlue $2 million for a history of “chronically delayed” flights, and the airline was one of the least on-time in the U.S. in 2024, according to data from aviation analytics company Cirium.
