The Benefits of Oliveda Face Masks • Kath Eats

I’m talking all about Oliveda face masks including their benefits and how to use them in your clean skincare routine. Oliveda has 25% off all skincare products going on right now, including all of the masks, so if you’re looking to try out waterless skincare, today is the day to save!

I love a good face mask when I’m wanting a little extra special TLC for my skin. And this green honey enzyme mask has me singing like Elphaba from Wicked every time!

My favorite time to do a mask is post workout / pre shower so I am putting it on 10 minutes before a shower and not making a mess at my sink. And if I get a little on my clothes, they’re going straight in the wash.

I’ve talked about how to use Oliveda serums and elixirs, drinkable skincare (a.k.a. Oliveda beauty elixirs), and I’ve shared my full Oliveda skincare review.

Today, I want to give you an overview of Oliveda’s face masks, as they can be helpful booster products in your skincare routine.

Get them all 25% off today! Ends tonight!

What is a face mask?

A skincare face mask is a beauty product applied to the face to deliver targeted treatment, addressing specific skin concerns such as hydration, deep cleansing, and exfoliation. Masks come in various forms, including sheet, clay, gel, and cream, each designed to enhance the overall health and appearance of the skin.

How To Use Face Masks

  1. Cleanse Your Face: Start with a clean face. Use your regular cleanser to remove any makeup, dirt, or oil. Pat your face dry with a clean towel.
  2. Exfoliate (Optional): For better absorption, you can exfoliate your skin to remove dead skin cells. This step is optional but can enhance the effectiveness of the mask.
  3. Apply the Mask: If the mask comes in a jar or tube, use clean fingers or a silicone brush to apply an even layer of the mask to your face, avoiding the eye and lip areas.
  4. Leave On for the Recommended Time: Follow the instructions on the product packaging. Typically, face masks should be left on for 10-20 minutes. Relax and let the mask work its magic.
  5. Remove the Mask: Rinse off the mask with lukewarm water. Use a gentle circular motion to ensure all the product is removed.
  6. Follow with Skincare: After removing the mask, follow up with your regular skincare routine such as a toner, serum, and moisturizer.
  7. Use Regularly: Oliveda recommends using their masks 1-2 times per week.

Masking Tips

  • It’s always best to apply masks to freshly cleansed skin.
  • You can use the F10 Olive Core Face Peeling prior to a mask for extra exfoliation.
