Chicken Caesar Wrap (Low Carb-Keto Option!)

Nothing sabotages your healthy eating plan (and your wallet) as quickly as eating out for lunch too often. Restaurant portions are usually too big, often made with seed oils and/or added sugar, and a lot of time whatever you order for lunch can be made quicker and less expensively at home. This Chicken Caesar Wrap (Low Carb-Keto Option!) is one of my favorite meals to make for lunch or an easy dinner. It’s delicious, filling, low carb/keto friendly and super easy to toss together. I just love it and I am pretty sure you will too.

The Chicken Caesar Wrap (Low Carb-Keto):

This wrap has plenty of protein, healthy fats and fiber, and all the traditional components of a chicken Caesar salad: chopped romaine, diced chicken (I use store bought rotisserie to keep it quick and easy), Parmesan cheese and Caesar dressing. I skip the croutons in favor of avocado and use an almond flour tortilla to keep the carbs low and blood sugar stable, because that’s how I roll. Of course you may use which ever tortilla you choose, because I am also all about options!

The Tortillas:

As mentioned above, you may use whatever tortilla floats your boat, I use Siete Almond Flour Tortillas because they only have 10 grams of carbohydrates each. You can usually find them at your local grocery store, Trader Joe’s also has an almond flour tortilla, but it’s smaller, so you may need two. You can find a variety of Siete Grain Free Tortillas here.

The Caesar Dressing:

Sometimes I make my own Caesar Dressing (<—link) but this lunch is supposed to be quick and easy so I use Primal Kitchen Caesar Salad Dressing. It’s got all the good stuff and none of the bad, and it tastes great. I find it at all my local grocery stores but you can also find it online.
