How’s everyone doing coming out of winter hibernation? Always a very hopeful time of year for those of us who prefer humid July days at the pool to trekking up and down a sledding hill 🙂

Wrong Place, Wrong Time
Another great way to wnwind: reading! Currently reading this book. Any time someone says “I couldn’t put it down” I go look for it in my Libby app. This one was recommended by a few friends. So far, it’s eerie good!
Watching: Servant + Severance
Speaking of eerie/creepy, Thomas and I have watched to two great shows recently: Servant and Severance. Both are on Apple TV. Both sound the same, and both were/are really good!! Servant is about a family whose baby passes away and they have a coping doll brought in along with a nanny to care for it. It’s produced by M. Night Shyamalan and was really fun to watch (4 seasons!) The directing is stunning, too.
It seems like everyone is watching Severance! It’s so good and a little creepy. Like The Office meets Inception. We are loving it.
Cinnamon Chip Bread
I bought some home to Birch and he hasn’t stopped eating it. We’re on our third week in a row. He is obsessed. Kind of like me with Irish Soda Bread that is out now!!!
Indoor Smores
We got this kit as a Christmas gift and it was a hit with the boys. It’s smokeless and takes a pure fuel, so it’s safe to use indoors. But it will also be great to have on our screened-in porch!
Electric Hand Warmer
I know I am late sharing this as it’s getting warmer, but I got this electric hand warmer in a gift exchange and it’s been so handy on the coldest days!! I love that you don’t have the waste of the pouches and can put this anywhere. A bit more versatile than the heated gloves I was researching.
Pirates By Mail
My parents got Birch this mail order mystery for Christmas. Of course his was pirate themed! Each week something came in the mail (usually a letter, a package on the last one) and we had a few puzzles to figure out to learn where the treasure was buried. Birch at age 6 did really well with them! It was a great experience gift, and he LOVED the treasure box that came at the end.
Subtl Beauty
I have seen Subtl all over my Instagram feed, and they sent me a “stak” to test out. Subtl has clean makeup that is the ultimate travel / gym bag / on-the-go solution! The shades all stack together with a mirror and brush for a super compact makeup kit.
The shades were all very natural, and I actually loved the dark lip/cheek color on myself! I also really loved how the cream texture was immediately ready to apply and didn’t need to get “warmed up” to be spreadable, if that makes sense! This is my new gym bag makeup set.
Aloha Bars
I think I mentioned these protein-packed bars once already, but the peanut butter cup and cookie dough flavors are by far my favorite! I love how chewy the are, so they are easy to pack and not worry about crumbling apart.
Italian Bianco

My old gadgets were too old to remember getting. Our garlic press was always dripping water out of the loose handles.
