What a tasty question to have… what sauce goes with onion rings, anyway? Today, I’m answering that question with the most mouthwatering onion ring sauce ever!
With just a handful of ingredients, we’ll be making the best ever onion ring dipping sauce. Creamy mayo, tasty ketchup, and a double spice kick of paprika and Cajun seasoning are complimented with just a touch of Worcestershire sauce.
Ingredients
- Mayonnaise: feel free to use your favorite mayo here
- Ketchup
- Paprika: I used smoked paprika, while sweet would add a mellower flavor.
- Cajun Seasoning: I made today’s onion ring sauce with this homemade Cajun seasoning recipe and it was unbelievably excellent.
- Worcestershire sauce: Just of hint of this ingredient adds a delicious depth of flavor, but go ahead and skip it if you absolutely dislike it.
How to Make Onion Ring Sauce
It’s seriously so simple to make onion ring sauce.
Simply add all ingredients to a mixing bowl: mayonnaise, ketchup, paprika, this homemade Cajun seasoning recipe, and Worcestershire sauce.
Then, whisk everything together until very well mixed and no clumps remain.
Serve at once, or transfer to an airtight container to store in the refrigerator.
