10 delicious plant-based Easter desserts

These vegan Easter desserts cover cakes to cookies to puddings, and chocolate to berries to lemons, offering something for everyone.

Vegan easter desserts are fun! It seems our choices for vegan main dishes on Easter similar to what we make during the holidays.

For desserts, however, we tend to move into brighter colors and more seasonal flavors. Welcome spring!

So today I bring you vegan Easter desserts that feature lemons, mangoes, berries, and even carrots. 🥕🥕 (Have to keep someone 🐰happy!)

In addition to these seasonal choices, I have also included a few dessert favorites. They are always popular choices, so in this collection of Easter desserts!

I hope you enjoy this collection of delicious Easter desserts.

12 Vegan Easter Desserts

Mango Vegan Carrot Cake: Doesn’t this just look like spring to you?! The cake is tender and flavorful, with frozen mangoes contributing sweetness and moisture in the wet ingredient blend. If it’s been a while since you’ve had carrot cake – or vegan carrot cake – this is your Easter dessert recipe!

Chocolate Lava Cakes: I’m so surprised this recipe isn’t HOTTER, because it’s sublime. A must-make – and then you must tell me how you loved it. 😬

Almond Raspberry Torte: Doesn’t this look like Spring? Fresh berries, hits of lemon, just so light and yet still so satisfying!

Chocolate Macaroon Nests: These goodies were so popular when I posted them! I used the no whey no nos in these nests, but it’s easier to source these Little Secrets vegan candies on amazon. (Bonus: they taste much better!) Or, use vegan gummy candy in the nests. Link for amazon.ca.

A very fun vegan Easter dessert: chocolate macaroon nests! They are chocolate macaroon cookies with vegan candy "nested" in the centre of each, to look like bird nests.

Vegan Bundt Cake with Lemon-Maple Frosting: This cake is so vibrant in flavor! The lemon really pops, plus it is just such a beautiful presentation for guests. It’s not difficult to make, give it a try.

Divine Vegan Cheesecake: This is the quintessential vegan cheesecake recipe. Seriously, friends, it is truly divine! Rich and luscious, decadent and quite the crowd-pleaser.

Vegan Rice Krispie Squares: I just refreshed the post for these rice krispie treats. They are a long-time favorite, and the nut-free version of these treats is my absolute favorite. Always fun for kids, and this is an Easter dessert you can make ahead of time!

Grain-Free Apple Berry Crumble from Ricki Heller: First, this is not one of my recipes. It is by Ricki Heller, and I posted it as part of her cookbook blog tour. Secondly, anyone that is looking for an Easter dessert that is suitable for a gluten-free and sugar-free vegan diet, this is a great choice.

Vegan Nanaimo Bars: This is one of those year-round favorite vegan desserts. My nanaimo bar recipe is not just vegan, but also gluten-free, nut-free. Moreover, it’s made without all that “junky stuff” that’s in traditional nanaimo bars. Go on, just make a batch. You can make these vegan treats ahead of time too!

Vegan Bread Pudding This recipe is “lesser known” in my collection of sweets. For this reason, I highlight it today! It’s easy to make, so incredibly tasty and comforting. If you want to make it for an Easter brunch instead of dessert, you could reduce or omit the chocolate altogether. Either way, give this delicious recipe some love!

Fresh Raspberry Pudding: Perhaps you want a very simple, quick Easter dessert. Or maybe just a vegan dessert that’s a bit lighter and fresher. Either way, this raspberry pudding will suit. A variation of vegan chia pudding, it’s an easy, tasty, fresh dessert for Easter or any time of the year. By the way, you can use frozen berries.

Dreamy Vegan Baked Bananas: This recipe is an oldie but goodie. It is especially delicious served with a scoop of vegan ice cream or dollop of vegan whipped cream. Actually, if you are serving as an Easter dessert, certainly go with one of those toppings!

Sweet Potato Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Sweets Frosting: You knew it would be here, right? I mean, could a vegan dessert roundup be complete without my Sweet Potato Chocolate Cake? I don’t think so!

As an example, look at this photo a reader posted on Instagram! Isn’t it gorgeous?
