One of my favorite things to do in Dinant was ascend the 408 stairs to reach the Citadel of Dinant. The endeavor rewards the adventurous with more than just a sense of achievement. This historic fortress, perched high above the town, offers a panoramic spectacle of Dinant, the Meuse River, and the surrounding landscapes that is truly breathtaking.
