All of my siblings together! All of my parents’ grandchildren (they have 26!) but Knox (he is on a trip right now) were there, too! It’s not often that we get almost everyone together, so I soaked in every single minute.
The gorgeous and happy couple:
We did not plan properly for the weather. We were in St. George two weeks before for the marathon, and it was over 100° F! A lot can change in a few weeks!
Beck was so happy to be with his boy gang all weekend. He followed them all for every step that they took.
Beck was also happy that he could be in many more BeReals than mine, especially with the older, cool kids.
Even my mom got out on the dance floor!
I wish we had many more weekends just like this one.
Back home again!
They are pretty happy when the 49ers score.
I could live off of this sweet potato curry! TRY THIS (we also added some chicken).
Please life, don’t ever make me sit in a car again for hours with sciatic pain. There is just no safe and comfortable way to sit in a car with sciatic pain. Give me all of the walking, lying down, and standing (all pain-free currently)… but I’m just going to do my best to avoid sitting for the next little while.
I go in to get an MRI tomorrow (our friend is a radiologist and was beyond kind to get it all set up for us and then he can read it right away), and then I’ll better know which way to go to treat this. I’m really hoping my lower back is just so tight that I need rest and a daily massage, so please hope the same for me.
I’m not going to lie.. The whole ‘writing about running and oversharing is my job thing’ is stressing me out a bit. So, please tell me that you’ll still hang out with me over here even if I start writing about my knitting more and how to avoid chairs at all costs.
I cannot wait to do this kind of stuff again!
