Maple Bacon Onion Jam from Stonewall Kitchen on top of melted brie cheese will change your life! I find the rind on the cheese to be a little nasty, so I cut that all off and melted the cheese in a ramekin. The cheese gets all melty and gooey, and when you take a chip and dip it in the cheese, and pull the cheese out, it gets all stringy. That is the best part.
Seeing the cheese be all drippy from dipping a chip or cracker into it. Mmmm… I had to stop myself from eating this. You could put any type of jam on this. Raspberry, Strawberry, Grape, pepper jelly.

Homemade Bacon Onion Jam
The recipe below calls for a jar of Maple Bacon Onion Jam from Stonewall Kitchen. Since sharing this recipe I have also created a recipe of my own for Bacon Onion Jam. Check it out here. Depending on your preferences you can use whatever you like.
How to Make Baked Brie
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Take rind off of the bottom of the cheese. I used a serrated knife. Place in a ramekin and bake for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
- Take the cheese out of the oven, and top with the jam. Place in the oven again for 5 more minutes. Enjoy with chips or crackers!
Tips for Serving Appetizers
My family loves to serve appetizers on Christmas Eve. Here’s some tips I’ve learned during the Holidays for preparing or serving appetizers in a large family.
- Have a variety of appetizers available served warm or cold.
- See if there’s other ways to prepare the appetizer so you’re not constantly using the oven in your home or someone else’s. Slow Cookers or Air Fryers are great for this reason.
- Many appetizers can be made ahead of time. See what ingredients in the recipe can be cooked the day before.
- Have plenty of fancy serving platters around to arrange the appetizers on. Dips and fancy spreads look nice on a white serving tray.
Storage Tips
Always store leftovers in clean,food-grade containers. The type of container doesn’t really matter. Use zip lock, glass, plastic, whatever! Just make sure the food is sealed tight before storing in the fridge or freezer.
