2. Mangrove Mike’s Cafe
Mangrove Mike’s is a favorite breakfast spot among visitors and locals. What’s the draw? Cool atmosphere, good prices, and some of the best breakfast foods in Islamorada.
The place is just cool. Outside, it looks like just a spot in an ordinary strip mall. But once inside, it’s all about color, energy, and a chill atmosphere. It’s the perfect balance of a casual diner and the vibe of the Florida Keys.

Originally called Islamorada Restaurant & Bakery, chef Robert “Bob” Spencer Jr. has been making a name for himself over the past 20 years. Nicknamed Bob’s Bunz after the owner gives credit where credit is due.
Here, you’ll find tons of different pastries and breakfast foods that are out of this world. The cinnamon buns take the cake, but everything else is scrumptious too. Bob’s is open each day from 6 am-2 pm.
4. Hungry Tarpon Restaurant
Breakfast at the Hungry Tarpon (located in Robbie’s of Islamorada) is just about the best way to spend the morning in the Florida Keys. Here, you can enjoy breakfast as the sun rises on the water. Opening at 6:30 am, it’s one of the earliest breakfasts you can find in Islamorada.
