Filipino fans may now be able to watch the antics of Bluey the lovable dog as BBC Studios announced the global hit children’s animation series’ coming to Philippine screens via TV5 beginning April 29.
The hit show will be dubbed in Tagalog for the very first time.
Audiences at home can catch over 100 episodes of Bluey from Season 1 to 2, which have also been dubbed in Tagalog for the very first time, every Monday to Friday from 7am to 8am, and on weekends from 8am to 9am.
Since launching in Australia in 2018, Bluey has gained millions of fans around the world; widely lauded for its heartfelt and funny portrayal of family life and celebration of play. Celebrity fans include Eva Mendes, Natalie Portman, and Lin-Manuel Miranda, who have all appeared in the show in cameo roles.
The series follows Bluey, a loveable, inexhaustible, Blue Heeler dog, who lives with her Mum, Dad and her little sister, Bingo. Bluey uses her limitless energy to play games that unfold in unpredictable and hilarious ways, bringing her family and the whole neighborhood into her world of fun.

A global-ratings hit, Bluey was the “most streamed children’s show last year in the United States with a viewing time of 43.9 billion minutes. The series has also enjoyed a plethora of critical success at home and abroad, winning the 2019 International Emmy Kids Award, 2022 British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) Children & Young People Award in the International category and numerous craft and production awards around the world.
Jointly commissioned by ABC Children’s and BBC Studios Kids & Family, Bluey is produced by multi-Emmy award-winning Ludo Studio in association with Screen Queensland and Screen Australia.

The series streams to US and global audiences (outside of Australia, New Zealand and China) across Disney Channel, Disney Junior and Disney+ through a global broadcasting deal between BBC Studios Kids & Family and Disney Branded Television. In its native Australia, the show goes out on ABC.
