“Certain Dogs Always Hunt”: Deion Sanders Makes Bold Claim On DeAndre Hopkins Years After Expressing Texans Trade Concerns

Tennessee Titans WR DeAndre Hopkins had his fair share of ups and downs in the NFL. Selected as a first-round pick by the Houston Texans in the 2013 NFL Draft, he played six seasons recording just two seasons with less than 1,000 receiving yards before being traded to the Arizona Cardinals. This move shocked so many DHop’s supporters including the Buffs HC Deion Sanders who previously appeared on NFL Network to raise his question on Hopkins’ trade.

Deion Sanders laid out his questions saying, “What’s really going on? What is going on? I just left Houston last weekend for a  7 on 7. Everybody is singing, enjoying life and now this? How can you trade DeAndre Hopkins?” But fate has more in store for Hopkins who was traded again to the Titans after two seasons. Deion Sanders’ support for the Titans WR was evident right from the beginning and what he stated today only takes the support to the next level.

After critics made a dark forecast for DeAndre Hopkins’ NFL future saying the 32-year-old has “not much” left and “can’t run anymore,” he took to his X account to post a video of a compilation of his best runs with the caption, “Remember the articles from so called top executives saying I can’t play anymore. In Ran We trust.” In response to this, Deion Sanders reposted the tweet including his own caption, “They don’t understand that certain Dogs always Hunt. I’m betting on DHop and I don’t BET! <Gold Jacket.”

Deion Sanders’ statement speaks for itself as it revealed that he’s getting out of his comfort zone to bet for Hopkins even though he doesn’t have a habit of betting. He even believes that Hopkins is a potential future Hall of Famer who would go on to win a gold jacket. The future is uncertain but his last season with the Titans had been a silver lining for Hopkins after his recent fallout.
