Chocolate, peanut butter, and bananas. Is there a better combo? Not when I’m craving something hunger-quenching, chocolate-y, and delicious. When hanger calls, I answer it with this Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie. It’s so easy to make, requires just 4 ingredients, and hits that chocolate-peanut butter-banana need so well.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie Ingredients
- Bananas – the riper the bananas, the sweeter the chocolate peanut butter banana smoothie. Ripen, then freeze bananas before making the smoothie.
- Milk – use any milk you’d like. Oatmilk is my fave because it’s creamy and sweet!
- Peanut Butter – natural, salted, unsalted–use what your body is calling for (and your pantry can answer lol).
- Cocoa Powder – unsweetened cocoa powder or cacao powder will do.
Toppings
One of the best parts of making this healthy chocolate peanut butter smoothie? The toppings!!
- Whipped cream
- Chocolate shavings or shards – dark, white, milk, it’s all good.
- Natural peanut butter for easy drizzling
How to Make a Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie
It’s super easy to make this chocolate peanut butter banana smoothie. All you have to do is add all the ingredients to a high-speed blender: frozen bananas, milk, peanut butter, and cocoa powder.
Blend all ingredients together until smooth. Pour into two glasses, add toppings, and enjoy!
