Popular conjoined twins Abby and Brittany Hensel responded to hateful comments following the marriage news of Abby, the left-conjoined twin, and Josh Bowling.
The twins posted a TikTok video featuring images of antique sculptures of conjoined twins with Father John Misty’s song “Real Love Baby” in the background.

This was followed by a second video with the caption, “#forever,” displaying the photo of the pair embracing. They used a voice over saying, “This is for all you haters out there. If you don’t like what I do but watch everything I’m doing — you’re still a fan.”

The conjoined twins first went viral after appearing on the famous Oprah Winfrey Show in 1996. This was followed by several media appearances, including an interview with TLC in 2006. They then starred in their own reality series, ‘Abby and Brittany,’ on TLC in 2012. The series covered the period from when they graduated from college to when they began working as part-time teachers. After a decade, the twins, now 34, work as fifth-grade teachers.
Abby and Josh Bowling secretly united in marriage in 2021. The twins pretty much lived a ‘normal’ life as they were seen enjoying their lives and functioning just like everybody else.
As dicephalic conjoined twins, Abby and Brittany are a rare kind of partial twinning in which two heads share a single torso. The twins have a common bloodstream and share every organ below the waist. Abby is in control of their right arm and leg, while Brittany is in control of their left.

Dr. Benjamin Carson, chief of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center in Baltimore, Maryland, who has assisted in separating other twins, supports this assessment. “If we were to separate them, we would basically take a couple of individuals who are mobile and change them into invalids,” he stated during an interview with TIME magazine.
In the 2003 documentary “Joined for Life,” the twins envisioned themselves having a family. Even the circumstances they were in, nothing can stop someone from living their life the way they wanted.
