Lisbon, the vibrant capital of Portugal, exudes a great mix of eclectic energy and charm when the sun goes down. Here are some of my favorite spots and insider tips to make your nighttime adventures in Lisbon the best experiences you’ve ever had.

Just outside the city, you’ll find the Estoril Casino in the spectacular Portuguese Riviera, right in Cascais. It’s one of the largest casinos in Europe and offers casino bonuses like the Bistro, where you can snag an all-inclusive dinner for just €21 per person, which is excellent value. You get a starter, main course, dessert, and your choice of wine, water, or beer. And the friendly service makes it even better.

If you’re in the mood for reasonably priced cocktails, the lounge there offers a wide variety. Plus, it often hosts free live music. It’s the perfect place to relax or revel in the vibrant energy of the casino.

To get there, you can take the train every 15 minutes from Lisbon Santos, right by the sea. After a one-hour train ride along the picturesque coast, you’ll arrive in Cascais.
