Easy Miso Glazed Salmon:

So, this is just how easy this recipe is to make:

1.Whisk together a five ingredient miso glaze.

2.Brush salmon with glaze and marinate for 1-3 hours.

3.Bake salmon in oven. Voila! You’re done.

The Miso Glaze:

Miso is a fermented soy paste. It comes in white and red versions, you can use either. I chose red for this recipe because I like the color for this recipe, but white is petty too! For this delicious glaze  simply whisk together Miso paste, soy sauce, honey, white rice vinegar and sesame oil. Super easy!

Cooking the Salmon:

Again, so easy! Bake in the oven for 12 minutes, then broil for the last three. Your salmon will come out perfectly tender.

The Recipe: Easy Miso Glazed Salmon

What you need:  Miso paste, soy sauce, honey, white rice vinegar and sesame oil and a baking dish or a cast iron pan

A simple, tender, glazed salmon made in the oven. Serve with rice, steamed broccoli or edamame.

    6 oz
    salmon filets, skin on

The Miso Glaze

  • 2
    tablespoons
    Miso paste (white or red) I used red because I love the color
  • 1
    tablespoon
    soy sauce
  • 1
    tablespoon
    honey
  • 2
    teaspoons
    rice vinegar
  • 1
    teaspoon
    sesame oil

  1. Set salmon filets in a baking dish or cast iron pan skin side down

  2. In a bowl whisk together all Miso glaze ingredients

  3. Brush top and sides of salmon filets with glaze. Dispose of remaining marinade. Marinate salmon in the fridge for 1-3 hours.

  4. Remove from the fridge and preheat oven to 375 degrees

  5. When oven is ready, place salmon in the oven. Cook for 12 minutes then turn the oven to broil for 3 minutes.

  6. Remove from the oven. Serve over rice with steamed broccoli or edamame.
