  • Pork tenderloin is also a healthy choice, as it is low in fat and high in protein. It is a great option for anyone looking to reduce their calorie intake while still enjoying a flavorful and satisfying meal.
  • Teriyaki sauce is a popular Japanese sauce that is used to flavor a variety of dishes. It is made by combining soy sauce, sake or mirin, sugar, and ginger.
  • Chicken broth – The best type of chicken stock to use is one that is homemade. For canned stock, I look for ones that say reduced sodium or fat free.
  • Brown sugar –  Is made by combining granulated white sugar with molasses, which gives it a brown color and a slightly different taste than regular white sugar.
  • Garlic, chopped – Chopped fresh garlic can take some time to chop so I often always use the freshly minced garlic that comes already made in a jar. 
  • Red chile pepper, finely chopped or used crushed red pepper flakes!
  • Black pepper – to taste

How to Make Crock Pot Teriyaki Pork Tenderloin  

Step 1: Mix together teriyaki sauce, chicken broth, and brown sugar in a bowl. Stir in garlic, red chile pepper, onion, and black pepper.

Step 2: Place tenderloins into the slow cooker, cover with the teriyaki sauce mixture. Cook on High for about 4 hours or low for 8 hours.

Step 3: Use a pair of tongs to shredded the pork in the slower cooker. The meat should easily tear apart with a fork.

Pressure Cooker Instructions – Cook on manual for 30 to 35 minutes. When the time is up do a quick release and shred the pork. 

Serving size: ¾ cup.

What can I serve with pork tenderloin?

Make a burrito rice bowl like at Chipotle or a burrito wrap.

Teriyaki pork tenderloin can be served with a variety of sides, such as rice, steamed vegetables, or a salad.

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
