Dumplings to help you lose weight
Fitness guru The Real Freezma recently attracted over 2 million views when he shared on TikTok his Ultimate Low-Calorie Snack.
To our surprise, they were a pack of dumplings! Not joking.
“Honestly these are insane! Only 320 calories for the whole pack,” he wrote.
“Great for a snack or even a lunch meal. You’d be shocked how filling these are! Sometimes if I want to save more calories for my evenings/dinner I will have these for lunch and be left with so many calories for the rest of the day .”
Dietitian, Susie Burrell, also recently shared her list of the healthiest foods to buy at the supermarket, and a packet of Dumplings made her selection too.
“It took me a while to be swayed by the dumpling movement, but now they are my favourite go-to quick and easy meal served with Asian greens and edamame,” she wrote.
Susie’s pick of supermarket dumplings brands was, Mr Chen’s, at only 282 calories.
According to news.com.au depending on the ingredients/flavour you prefer – dumplings often tick off the five major nutrient categories: protein, fat, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals.
