Diah’s second business trip took her to Singapore, where she had the opportunity to work from the FCM-Discova office and visit her team. The vibrant city-state offered a unique experience for Diah, as she embraced the walking culture and efficient MRT system. Getting lost and finding her way back again filled her with a sense of accomplishment and adventure. Exploring the beautiful sights of Singapore, although the Merlion was unfortunately under renovation at the time, allowed Diah to immerse herself in the city’s rich culture. Additionally, she participated in a training session alongside HR professionals from various industries, broadening her network and knowledge.Â
Both of these business travel experiences initially evoked nervousness in Diah, but they ultimately proved to be wonderful and transformative. The opportunity to connect with colleagues, explore new destinations, and engage in professional development has left Diah eagerly anticipating her next adventure. As she continues to embrace the joys and challenges of business travel, Diah’s experiences serve as a testament to the personal and professional growth that can be achieved through these journeys.Â
