(leggings, top, gloves, headband <– everything is still 30% off)
A Saturday morning run with friends was what my soul needed. Most of us aren’t training for anything currently, so it’s a ‘sleep in and text when you wake up, and then we find each other out there’ kind of a thing. Skipping setting an alarm clock and still getting a few miles with friends = the ultimate joy after so much time away from running.
Our good friends had a baby so we were able to meet their new little one (HOW DO I ALWAYS FORGET HOW TINY THEY COME?!), and then we were off to Planted in Pages. The owners noticed Knox’s interest in a series a few weeks ago, so they ordered the rest of the series for him and told us when they saw him. Truly the best bookstore ever.
We went to go find a Christmas tree!
Can you believe she is going to be 7 in a few days?!
I took a nap to prepare for the evening and then we ate dinner and told the kids to layer up for the football game. Skye came out of her room with legit TEN socks on each foot haha. She took her assignment seriously.
Knox was so excited to get to come because he had been gone every home game, but he was able to make it to their last one.
They all get so into it and I cannot believe how much they know about football. Brooke was using my gloves from when I took that nasty fall in a pothole a few months ago.. they are torn up but still work great haha.
I didn’t have my phone out for a while and then when I checked it, I had a dozen notifications from people… It freaked me out that something was wrong until I realized that it was because Brooke and Skye were on ESPN! The girls were so excited! Famous!
Andrew got to help out with Cosmo’s stunt of flying through a ring of fire.
We weren’t going to get the maple bar until we saw everyone else with one and had to jump on the bandwagon.
BYU won, Beck got to hang with Cosmo, and the kids saw a fistfight on the field so it was quite an eventful evening. I almost wussed out because it was so cold, but I’m very thankful I went.
And I only took one pic on Sunday of Brooke and Beretta running🤍
