Fly to Florida for Under $50 With This Airline’s Last-minute Deals

Travelers have more ways to save on spring break and summer vacations.

Allegiant Airlines, a discount carrier based in Las Vegas, recently released dozens of last-minute flight deals to popular vacation destinations including Fort Lauderdale, Sarasota, Orlando, and Tampa. Best of all, many of the flight deals are under $50 one-way, making them perfect for families or travelers looking to save. 

Travel + Leisure spotted a variety of one-way deals, including: 

• Akron, OH (CAK) to Sarasota, FL (SRQ) for $43 on February 24 
• Asheville, NC (AVL) to Orlando/Sanford, FL (SFB) for $49 on February 23 
• Cincinnati, OH (CVG) to Fort Lauderdale, FL (FLL) for $40 on February 26 
• Concord, NC (Charlotte Area – USA) to Orlando/Sanford, FL (SFB) for $39 on February 21
• Syracuse, NY (SYR) to Punta Gorda / Ft. Myers (PGD) for $46 on February 22, 2025 

The airline also has a number of deals to and from Las Vegas, including Fresno ($48), Grand Rapids, MI ($85), and Green Bay / Appleton, WI ($74). 

For travelers in the New York City and tri-state area, Allegiant has discount flights to Destin / Fort Walton Beach, FL for $67 one-way on March 30, and Savannah, GA (SAV) for $53 on March 31. 

In order to find the best deals, Allegiant has a ‘Last Minute Flight Deals’ page where travelers can enter their home airport, travel dates, and even their budget to find affordable options. 

More than 16.9 million people flew on Allegiant in 2024, which was a 2.1 percent decrease from 2023, according to a recent earnings release. The airline has recently expanded its route map with new service to Los Angeles, CA from Laredo, TX, and new service to Tampa, FL from McAllen, TX. The airline is popular among leisure travelers, and Allegiant also owns their own resort, the Sunseeker in Charlotte Harbor, FL.
