Get 100% Off Base Fares With Frontier’s Latest Fare Sale

Travelers can now save on one of the most expensive portions of a vacation.

Frontier Airlines recently announced the “Save Now” promotion, which provides as much as a 100% discount on base fares booked with the Denver-based carrier. Base fares mean the cost of the ticket before government taxes and carrier-fees are added to the reservation, which means the tickets are not completely free.

Travelers can redeem the 100% base fare discount by entering the promotional code SAVENOW when checking out. The sale offers 100% discounts to members of Frontier’s paid membership program, Discount Den, which costs $59.99 a year and also includes perks such as free flights for children and discounts on bags. Passengers who are not members of Discount Den will only receive a 50% discount.

The sale ends at 11:59pm EST on August 22, 2024, and is valid on travel throughout October 31, 2024, making it perfect for late summer or fall vacations. There are several conditions of the sale, including 7-day advance ticket purchase, and it is not available on popular holiday weekends such as the Labor Day holiday. The sale is also not valid on Friday or Sunday travel.

For example, travelers would only pay $16.38 in base fare, which is a 50% savings for non-members, on a round-trip flight booking from Los Angeles to Orlando on September 12-18. Travelers are still responsible for the $116 in government taxes, and carrier imposed fees in addition to the base fare. If the traveler was a member of Discount Den, they would only pay the government taxes and carrier imposed fees.

Frontier is known for low fares, and unbundled pricing. This means that advance seat assignment, carry-on bags, and checked bags are not included in the fare price, so travelers will need to pay extra for those during the booking process.

Frontier has been upgrading policies to be more customer friendly, including recently eliminating most change fees, and cancellation fees.
