Gingerbread Cookie Martini Recipe
I had so much fun making this easy gingerbread martini recipe for you! I truly wanted to take the flavor to an exceptional gingerbread cookie level—in it, you’ll find notes of creamy vanilla, gingerbread yum, and even a splash of coffee to balance and brighten the sweetness. Imagine baking a batch of thin ‘n crispy Gingersnaps to go with this cocktail. 😉
Gingerbread Martini Ingredients
- Whipped cream vodka – vanilla vodka will do, but I highly, highly recommend whipped cream vodka. It’ll make this Christmas cocktail *that* much creamier and delightfully sweet.
- Coffee liqueur
- Milk of choice – I like oatmilk, but you can use whichever milk you’d like. 😉
- Vanilla ice cream – make sure to use slightly softened ice cream so it can incorporate smoothly into your creamy gingerbread martini.
- Gingerbread syrup – here’s where I get my gingerbread syrup.
How to Make a Gingerbread Martini
Detailed instructions and precise ingredients are found in the recipe card near the bottom of the post.
The first step to learning how to make a gingerbread martini involves making the spectacular frosted gingerbread cookie rim.
Make the Frosted Gingerbread Cookie Rim
First, fill a shallow, rimmed plate with vanilla frosting. Then, dip the rim of your martini glass in the frosting to coat. Fill another shallow, rimmed plate with crushed gingerbread cookies or graham crackers. Dip the frosted rim of your gingerbread martini glass into the crushed cookies.
Check out how beautiful (and obviously tasty) that frosted gingerbread cookie rim is! ⬇️
Make the Gingerbread Martini
This part is super easy. Add all the cocktail ingredients into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice. Shake thoroughly until it’s frothy, about 20 seconds. The longer you shake, the more froth you’ll get.
Strain this gingerbread martini mixture into your frosted gingerbread cookie rimmed martini glass.
Finish your gingerbread martini with a mountain of whipped cream, a gingerbread cookie tucked into the whipped cream, and a dusting of ground cinnamon. Sip and enjoy!
Frosted Gingerbread Cookie Rim
- Vanilla frosting – you can whip up your own homemade vanilla frosting, or buy it readymade.
- Crushed gingerbread cookies or graham crackers – gingerbread cookies will make this Christmas cocktail extra festive, but feel free to use graham crackers, as I did in these photos!
