Greece’s high tourism season is almost here. If you’re one of the millions who plan to make their way to the European nation and all its islands this year, you’ve likely already plotted out all the best ferry routes. But what if we told you there was an easier—and much faster—way to get there?

In late January, Hoper, Greece’s first helicopter airline service, announced five new destinations you can fly to this spring and summer, including Milos, Ios, Syros, Anafi, and Porto Heli.

“Our mission is to revolutionize how people explore Greece,” Demitris Memos, the chief executive officer of Hoper, said in a statement provided to Travel + Leisure. “By introducing new routes to captivating Cycladic islands and beyond, we’re making it easier for travelers to experience the magic of Greece, including its remote and lesser-known destinations, in a unique and scenic way whilst prioritizing comfort and safety.”

With these new additions, the company (which launched in 2024) now serves 15 destinations and 60 routes, making it much easier to connect to some of the most beautiful islands on the planet. “In a region where ferry travel can be time-consuming, Hoper’s scheduled helicopter service provides an exclusive and efficient alternative, redefining personalized and premium travel experiences,” the company said.
