Especially, I mean, first getting there and just seeing Aaron, I’ll be like, wow. I grew up as a kid watching him play ball and just do legendary things on the field. So, it’s going to be pretty awesome having such a dynamic and veteran quarterback to lead the offense and doing my job for him.”
After all, the professional football player will “get to block for one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, Aaron Rodgers.” Apart from expressing his exhilaration, NFL OL also disclosed his determination to learn more from the new offensive line. “And I’m in with the O-line. I’m super excited. There’s a lot of knowledge in the room. I’m hoping I can be like a sponge and just soak up as much of it as I can. Just keep getting better,” he further disclosed.

After receiving the All-UFL honor, the NFL OL expressed his celebratory feelings. “It felt great. I’ve been putting in a lot of work and working alongside my teammates this season to finetune all the little kinks out, so we can run our offense as smoothly as possible. To earn that trust in camp, it meant a lot,” he added.
Levao began his initial 12 games at center and the last game of the season at left guard, without allowing a single sack all year. With a 97% pass protection success rate, he secured a spot in the Hula Bowl in Orlando. Even, in 2023 during the XFL game, he left the fans in awe with his remarkable starting in eight of ten games with the team.
Additionally, Kohl excelled throughout Training Camp despite all of the roster turmoil in San Antonio after the merger, including the hiring of a completely new coaching staff. The young OL gained a notable spot on A.J. Smith’s offense and became a starter in every game in 2024. This led him to sign with the Jets.

By signing Kohl Levao, the team seems to be rebuilding a reliable unit for the upcoming season. At the moment, the Jets have Max Mitchell, Xavier Newman, and Wes Schweitzer as backup guards. Levao will have the opportunity to compete for a backup spot in the interior of the line. This is significant considering the fact that Alijah Vera-Tucker has missed most of the previous two seasons due to injury.
