Everything bagel dip is the snack you never knew you needed in your life!
Up until now,my black pepper whipped fetahas been my go-to when I need to bring a dip to a get together. But,I’m adding this everything bagel dip to my list of most made dips because it’s very easy and quite tasty.

Ingredients
Cottage cheese –Full fat or low fat cottage cheese. The cottage cheese is going to get blended,so the size of the curd doesn’t totally matter.
Yogurt –Some dips call for sour cream,but I wanted to make this a tad healthier by using plain Greek yogurt instead.
Cream cheese –Full-fat or light cream cheese;softened. I tried this recipe without the cream cheese and found it to be a little too healthy tasting,if you know what I mean. The cream cheese is a must!
Everything bagel seasoning –You should be able to find this in the spice aisle at most grocery stores. I know for a fact that both Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods sells it. But if you can’t find any,I’m sharing how to make your own homemade seasoning below.
Instructions
Step 1:Blend the cottage cheese. Add the cottage cheese to a high power blender and blend until smooth.
Step 2:Combine ingredients.Mix the yogurt,cream cheese and everything bagel seasoning together with a hand mixer in a large bowl. Then,add in the blended cottage cheese and fold everything together.
Step 3:Serve.Scoop the dip into a serving bowl,then sprinkle with additional seasoning. Serve and enjoy!
Tips and tricks
- Serve this dip warm or cold. To serve it warm,simply warm it in the microwave in 15-second increments until it reaches your desired temperature.
- How to make your own bagel seasoning:Combine poppy seeds,black sesame seeds,white sesame seeds,dried minced onion,dried minced garlic,and salt together. Serve this dip with:crackers,pretzels,baby carrots,celery,cucumbers,bell peppers;or,enjoy it over a piece of toast.
Tip
You may need to scrape the blender down once or twicewhile blending the cottage cheese until it’s completely smooth.
Add-ins:
Bulk this dip up by adding one or more of the following:
- Shredded cheddar cheese
- Chopped bacon
- Green onions
- Chives
- Buffalo sauce (this will really alter the flavor of the dip,but I think it would be delicious)
Storage
Refrigerator:Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.
Freezer:I don’t recommend freezing this dip.
