How House members voted on the motion to vacate Speaker Mike Johnson

The House voted to stop an effort to oust Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) on Wednesday afternoon. In a 359 to 43 vote, an overwhelming number of Democrats and Republicans moved to kill the effort to remove Johnson brought by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.).

Johnson survived after Democrats provided enough support in the procedural step to avert a final vote on removing him.
