My social cup was FILLED on Saturday morning. I got time with some of my running friends. I drove home feeling so alive.
Lauren met me for strength and a walk (she is healing from a torn labrum:( and Jo met us for the walk, too.
Adductor side plank leg lift, classic planks, lateral band walking, cobra holds, banded tricep kick-backs, and eccentric chin-ups were the name of the game yesterday. I’m excited to be adding more things to do pain free. It will be a while before I am stacking weights on my shoulders for squats etc, but I’m thankful for everything I can do now!
Along with this week’s PT exercises:
I also got 20 minutes on the stairclimber with my nephew pain-free. I HAD SWEAT ON MY FOREHEAD AT THE END AND IT WAS GLORIOUS. I’m just grateful this is all happening during cold months because missing out on running during the perfect months would be even harder.
We haven’t had a Saturday with everyone together in quite some time so we took full advantage of the day.
Skye and I got in some quality HP reading with her Hedwig.
We picked up Knox’s favorite drink.
We had a bunch of people over for tacos and the BYU vs Utah game.
The only proper chip-to-pico ratio.
The game was over four hours long and brought out every emotion in us all… We were up until 1 am because of the game (and thankfully, everyone slept in until 10 am the next morning.
We got up in time for church miracously.
For dinner, we went to my sister’s house.
To celebrate the birthday twins.
My sister and I did our part to really get in the party mode.
It was a very good weekend.
