JetBlue’s Latest Sale Has $49 Flights to Nashville and Dozens of Other Discounts for a Limited Time



As the summer travel season comes to a close, travelers have a new way to save on fall getaways. 

JetBlue recently announced the “Game On” fare sale, which offers flights as low as $49. The promotion is a nod to the fall football season, however the fares can provide an affordable options for early fall vacations, or last-minute trips. 

As an example, JetBlue shows a fare of $49 one-way from New York’s JFK airport to Nashville, Tenn. for travel in both September and October. That particular route can often reach as high as $314 one-way, which makes the discounted fare a true bargain. 

Another example of the discounted fares is from Boston, Mass. to Orlando, Florida, where one-way prices can be as much as $169, and the fare sale offers $69 one-way. In the Midwest, travelers can save from Cleveland to Fort Lauderdale for only $102, where other dates have flights for as much as $706, one-way.

JetBlue says the discounts must be booked by August 29, and are only valid on Tuesday and Wednesday travel between September 10 and October 30. 

Travelers can find the lowest fares on their routes by using JetBlue’s Best Fare Finder calendar. After entering their desired destination, a calendar view will show all of the available flights and prices. Changing the departure day can help save travelers hundreds on the tickets. 

Best of all, the fares displayed include all taxes and fees. The fares promoted are in the “Blue Basic” category of fares, which includes one free carry-on bag for flights departing after September 6, 2024.

The airline shares it is important to book directly in order to get the lowest prices, and other perks available.

“Customers who book directly through jetblue.com are guaranteed to find our lowest fares, and can enjoy additional benefits including access to all of JetBlue’s fare options, as well as fare sales and promotions, some of which may not be available through other third parties,” the airline shares on their booking site. 

JetBlue has been on the move with new routes and customer enhancements ahead of the busy fall and holiday travel season. The airline recently announced an expansion of its Mint business class product from New York and Boston to Bozeman, Mont. JetBlue also recently expanded service throughout Florida including new routes to Fort Myers and Fort Lauderdale.
