Join Travel Expert Samantha Brown on a Luxury Cruise Next Summer — How to Get on Board



Longtime television personality Samantha Brown will host an Oceania Cruises sailing next year on the company’s newest ship, allowing guests to mingle with the travel expert.

The luxury cruise line tapped Brown to lead a 10-day Mediterranean voyage on board the Allura ship when it launches next summer, the company shared with Travel + Leisure. Brown will welcome guests on the Aug. 5, 2025, sailing as it travels from Monte Carlo to Athens.

“[Brown’s] obvious passion for authentic travel experiences aligns perfectly with our mission to offer guests unforgettable journeys,” Frank A. Del Rio, the president of Oceania Cruises, said in a statement shared with T+L. “With Samantha’s extensive destination expertise and the unmatched elegance of our newest ship, this voyage promises to be a truly extraordinary adventure from jet-set Monte Carlo to historic Athens – via Italian cities, Greek islands, and Turkish resorts.”

As part of the special trip, Brown will participate in an onboard talk all about travel complete with a Q&A. The trip will also feature a welcome cocktail reception, destination-themed Chef’s Market Dinners in the Terrace Café, and Oceania’s gala brunch. 

Off the ship, Brown will plan to join some shore excursions to explore the destinations they visit.

For her part, Brown said in a statement it would be an “epic trip” and she was “looking forward to revisiting some of the places I have been to, like Rome and the Amalfi Coast, and discovering new places in Turkey and Greece.”

Cruisers who want to book the voyage should use the code “SBROWN” when booking to receive advance notice of special programming featuring Brown. The trip starts at $4,560 per person, according to Oceania.

Brown is the host of “Samantha Brown’s Places to Love” and has made it her mission to help travelers plan amazing trips while showing them how to save money, make packing easier, and simplify travel with kids.

For its part, Oceania currently operates seven small ships with a maximum of 1,250 guests each. The Allura will spend its inaugural season traversing Europe before heading to the East Coast of the United States and Canada, and finally down to Miami and the Caribbean.
