What was your motivation? What inspired you to keep going, even when you wanted to give up?
I’m a mom of two toddlers who has always believed in having and maintaining a healthy body weight and a healthy life and lifestyle. My mom, who is 62, is my inspiration as she has always pushed me to get active and have good eating habits.
How did you change your eating habits?
I decided to contact a personal coach named Terry Starks (aka. the Diet Doctor)! With his help, I learned what foods are good for my body type and what helps me be a fat-burning machine! I love his program because I’m not starving. In fact, I eat a lot and it’s all good food! There are no pills or intense workouts.
What is your workout routine?
I do cardio – walking or dancing.
How often did you work out?
I do cardio for 40 minutes twice a day, and my body does the rest!
What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
My starting weight was 230 pounds, and now I’m down to 202 pounds.
When did you start your journey? How long did your transformation take?
My journey was 28 days on Terry Starks’ Program! I started at the end of April 2024 and haven’t looked back! I’m not done yet because I’m working to get to my pre-baby weight. I’m excited to feel like myself again.
What is your height?
I’m 5’7″.
Is weight loss surgery part of your journey?
Nope
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far?
Food is my friend when I respect what kinds of food I put in my body! Also, it doesn’t take hours of gym work to achieve my goals; just a good coach (like Terry Starks), determination and lots of prayer too.
What advice do you have for women who want to lose weight? Don’t give up! Take progress pictures and stay off the scale! I noticed I lost so many inches before the scale moved, so I stopped caring about the numbers, focused on the mirror, and fell back in love with my body!
