What was your motivation? What inspired you to keep going, even when you wanted to give up?
My motivation was myself. I wanted to do this for me and prove to myself that I could do this. I want to live in a body that is energetic, free from pain, and vibrant.

But most importantly, I started this because I wanted to like the way I look in photos and videos. I struggled with obesity my entire life, ever since childhood. And truthfully, I wasn’t happy with my appearance. I would pretend that I was, but deep down, I was terrified of the camera. And I didn’t want to live like that anymore. I didn’t want to get to the end of my life and wonder, “Where was I?” If I don’t let people take photos of me, or if I feel uncomfortable with getting my phototaken, I feel like I’m completely erasing myself from my life. And I didn’t want that.

So, even when things got difficult, I kept going. I kept taking pictures of myself, and seeing my progress inspired me. And now, I’m truly amazed by what I see. Because I know what it took to achieve this. And it makes me appreciate my appearance even more.

How did you change your eating habits?
I fully embraced a low-carb lifestyle, and my body is thriving on a ketogenic diet. Although many people can safely eat a higher amount of carbohydrates and still maintain a leaner physique, I am not one of those people. My body struggles with properly metabolizing a higher amount of carbohydrates, so I drastically reduced the amount of carbs I eat daily. My diet now mainly consists of protein (meat, poultry, seafood, eggs), non-starchy vegetables, whole fats, organic monk fruit sweetener, and the occasional addition of coconut flour, full-fat dairy, and berries. I rarely dine out and prefer to cook my own food.

What is your workout routine?
I’ve made it a habit to work out every day for an hour. No rest days! It was a gradual process; I worked up to that, starting with just 10-15 minutes a day until my stamina improved. I lift weights twice a week, doing a full-body strength training routine I designed. And I kickbox five times a week. All of my workouts are knee-friendly and low-impact (no jumping, running, or high-impact exercises), and I do everything at home.

How often did you work out?
I work out every day, seven days a week. I love moving my body!

What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
My starting weight was 301 pounds. My current weight is 206 pounds. I have lost 95 lbs, but my goal is to lose 110 lbs (or more).

What is your height?
I am 5’5″ or 165 cm tall.

When did you start your journey? How long did your transformation take?
I started my journey in May 2024 at 37 years old, and it took me nine months to lose 95 pounds.

Is weight loss surgery part of your journey?
No, I have never undergone weight loss surgery, or taken any supplements or medication. My weight loss is 100% natural: diet, exercise, and mindset.

What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far?
I’ve learned just how strong I am, not only physically but mentally. Weight loss is more of a mental challenge than a physical one. Changing your habits and lifestyle begins with “changing your mind.” Once you can do that, it’s easier to tackle everything else that comes your way.

What advice do you have for women who want to lose weight?
First and foremost, you have to WANT this. You have to WANT to change your habits, your lifestyle, and your body. Because if you don’t want to, then it won’t happen, no matter how badly you may “want” it.

This will challenge you, and the success that you want will not happen overnight. It’s tough, but the good thing is… so are YOU. And you are worth it – you are worth ALL of it. No one else can give this to you except YOU. And this will be the greatest gift you can ever give to yourself. I promise.
