Eight miles @ 8:28 pace! It’s funny how my watch is now predicting faster times than it did right after the marathon after a few weeks of time off and now easy runs. I swear my watch is playing mind games with me.
When you cannot find your gloves anywhere, socks work just as well, especially festive ones!
+ A 15-minute peloton pilates class next to the fire when I got home.
The two of us went to story time at the library.
Beck got his first library card, which was a big event.
I adore the traderjoes5itemsorless IG account, and we used two of her recipes yesterday—> TJ’s squiggly noodles were the easiest thing in the world to make, and they had the perfect spice.
And the pesto chicken sandwich. Again, so easy and so good.
It was a school project kind of an afternoon… We are all experts in Medieval castles and wolves now.
Beck entertained himself by playing bop-it for a good amount of time.
We had ice cream with Brooke’s grandma and grandpa on her other side. I feel fortunate that we can still get together because they have always been extremely important to me, and I love how they treat all of my kids like they are so special, even though they aren’t everyone’s grandparents.
I had a goat cheese ice cream that was divine.
I was going through my notes from my marathon a few weeks ago, and I came across the only thing I didn’t love about the race that I forgot to mention. Maybe I notice it more than others because it affects my asthma (and I forgot my inhalers), but there was a lot of smoking along the course that made portions a bit harder for me to breathe. Has anyone else had a situation like this before? It was such a small thing, but something I did notice!
