Sloppy Joe Skillet

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef

1 tablespoon avocado oil
-
1 small onion, diced
-
2 garlic cloves, minced
-
1 cup diced zucchini
-
1 cup sliced mushrooms
-
½ cup red bell pepper, diced
-
1 cup no-sugar-added marinara sauce
-
1 cup beef bone broth
-
1 packet sloppy joe seasoning
-
Salt and pepper, to taste

¼ cup freshly grated mozzarella cheese
Directions:

In a large sauce pan, add your avocado oil and ground beef. Cook ground beef until it’s about ¾ of the way done (about 5 mins) on medium high heat.

Add in your onion, garlic, bell peppers and saute with ground beef until translucent and fully cooked (about 3 more minutes).

Now, add your zucchini and mushroom and saute.

Add your sloppy joe seasoning packet, salt and pepper.

Mix until the seasonings are combined.

Add your marinara sauce and beef bone broth and simmer until the skillet has thickened.

Top with mozzarella cheese and enjoy! You can serve it with a side salad.
