Today: Soneva launches great offers in the Maldives and Thailand
As most of you know, I am a huge fan of exceptional luxury hotels & resorts (and I assume most of you are as well since you are following my blog). Aman, Mandarin Oriental, Rosewood and Four Seasons rank among my favorite hotel brands. But my absolute favorite hotel group in the world is Soneva. What I like so much about the Soneva – and how they discriminate themselves from their high-end competitors – is their pursuit for excellence, the unique design of their resorts, their commitment to inspired living, their very smart take on barefoot luxury, their breathtaking ‘remote but accessible’ natural locations, and their creation of authentic experiences (unlike any other).
In 1995, Sonu Shivdasani, an Indian-British hotelier, launched Soneva Fushi resort on a deserted Maldivian island. He also built his house there, together with his wife Eva Malmström Shivdasani, a Swedish fashion model, who developed the design and furnishing of the property. They had no idea that their intensely personal vision of a locally crafted villa and environmentally responsible lifestyle would form the basis of a successful collection of world-class hotels, resorts and spas. But that’s exactly what happened. Today, the Soneva groups manages 4 resorts in the Maldives and Thailand (and more exciting properties are expected to open in the near future, including Japan):
But with the group’s stellar reputation also comes a heavy price tag. Staying at a Soneva property requires deep pockets, with entry room rates well above $2000 USD per night in high season. However, Soneva has launched some very interesting offers which are well worth considering when you are planning a holiday in either the Maldives or Thailand: the Great Escape Offer, the Residence Offer and the Family Offer. The group also launched a very exclusive offer for Soneva Secret (Pioneer Offer). Please keep in mind that all of these offers can be combined with the Soneva Ambassador benefits (e.g. two complimentary experiences, a resort credit, and more), which can mean huge savings when staying at one of the resort’s world-famous properties.

GREAT ESCAPE OFFER
The “Great Escape Offer” awards complimentary nights on a minimum stay of 4 nights: reserve a 4-night stay, which includes daily breakfast or half board dining and receive one complimentary night.
This offer is valid at Soneva Fushi, Soneva Jani and Soneva Kiri.
This offer is inclusive of:
- One complimentary night for a four-night stay, two complimentary nights for a seven-night stay, or a combination of those offers for additional savings
- Complimentary breakfast
Terms & Conditions
- The great escape offer is not available on selected black-out dates (which can be checked on the Soneva website)
- Complimentary nights can be accumulated for additional savings; combining a “Stay 4 Pay 3” with a “Stay 7 Pay 5” will result in a “Stay 11 Pay 8” offer

- Private Chef on call
- Dedicated buggy

THE FAMILY OFFER
The “Family Offer” awards complimentary full board stays in the Maldives and Thailand for children under 12, including signature child-friendly experiences.
This offer is inclusive of:
- Complimentary full board stay for up to two children (aged under-12) in One and Two Bedroom Villas (with a minimum two full paying adults); a maximum of two children can stay in a One Bedroom Villa
- Complimentary full board stay for up to four children (aged under-12) in Three Bedroom Villas and above (with a minimum two full paying adults)
- Complimentary daily breakfast for adult guests
- Two hours of daily babysitting service after 6 pm (Soneva Fushi & Soneva Jani)
- Daily shared babysitting services at The Eco Den during 10 am -1 pm and 2 pm -6 pm (Soneva Kiri)
- Daily shared children’s evening activities during 7:30 pm –9:30 pm (Soneva Kiri)
- Kids arrival kits, including baby accessories, high chairs, prams, play pens, monitors, bottle warmers and bath mats and other supplies

- Infants below 12 months will be charged for babysitting services (Soneva Kiri)

THE PIONEER OFFER
