Spirit’s Latest Deals Include Flights From $21 to Vegas, Orlando, and More

Spirit Airlines, known for discounted prices with limited in-flight amenities, recently released dozens of U.S. flight deals for as low as $21. These deals can be particularly helpful for travelers looking to plan a last-minute summer getaway, and are flexible on the location or general dates.

Travel + Leisure spotted some of the lowest one-way fares including:

  • Dallas (DFW) to Las Vegas (LAS) $40 on July 30, 2024
  • Detroit, MI (DTW) to Atlanta (ATL) $24 on August 27, 2024
  • Fort Lauderdale (FLL) to Atlanta (ATL) $21 on September 10, 2024
  • New York / Newark (EWR) to Orlando (MCO) $33 on July 30, 2024

Travelers can also find low-cost deals from Dallas to Los Angeles (LAX) for $39, or Houston (IAH) to Orlando for $33. The airline also has deals from Nashville (BNA) to Orlando for as low as $21, and Fort Lauderdale to New Orleans (MSY) as low as $26

The discounted fares are not tied to a specific sale, and are listed under the “Popular Flight Deals on Spirit” on Spirit’s homepage while supplies last. The sale requires a membership in Spirit Saver$ Club, which has an annual fee of $69.95 a year and provides access to discounted fares, as well as discounts on checked and carry-on bag fees.

Travelers can find their own lowest flight offers from their home airport by using the “Lowest Flight Offers” feature on Spirit’s website. There, travelers can enter their origin airport and budget to find the best airfare prices over the next several weeks.

Spirit recently introduced new policies to become more traveler friendly, including the elimination of change and cancellation fees.

“Spirit has changed the game before and we’re doing it again with this first round of initiatives that will lead the way to a new era of low-fare, high-value flying,” Spirit Airlines’ Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer Matt Klein said at the time of the announcement.

Before booking, travelers should carefully review the terms and conditions of the ticket as low-cost carriers generally do not bundle the price of a carry-on luggage or seat assignment into the original price of the ticket.
